Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is charming with nice antique furniture, well-stocked rooms, and a good view. The staff is super competent, fluent in multiple languages, and very welcoming. The location is excellent, close to major attractions and transport hubs. The dining experience is satisfying with various food and drink choices. However, there were some unprofessional staff members and breakfast could be improved.
The hotel has its ups and downs. The rooms need a working air conditioning system and should have fridges in every room, but the lack of tea and coffee making facilities made the stay less enjoyable. Being located on a noisy main road made sleep nearly impossible, and the room facing walls felt dark. On a positive note, despite facing a busy street, the room was surprisingly quiet.
I had a mix of experiences at this hotel. The rooms had antique furniture and a nice view, but the noise from the main road made it tough to sleep for all five nights. The staff tried to help by offering a new room, but they were fully booked. It was cleaner than expected, and the location was perfect with walking distance to the central area and great restaurants nearby.
